Take Advantage Of Farmville Bugs
As with any game especially a social game like FarmVille game with over 70 million players, little game play bugs or hacks are found by players doing what normally would not be done or imagined by the developers, Zynga. In order to keep the game on a level playing field using cheats or hacks are discouraged and you risk loosing your game account as well as your Facebook account when using some of the more blatant cheats like bots or macros.
There are a few glitches though that have been well documented and continue to be used, as Zynga has never addressed these game playing bugs. One in particular is the speed hack, which allows you to plant, harvest and plow in record time. Start by blocking in your character using fence posts or hay bales on plowed land. Since your character cannot move you don’t have to wait for them to amble on over to plow and plant. Instead your plowing and planting occurs at the speed of your actual clicks, which is about 200 % faster than your walking farmer avatar.
The speed hack comes in handy until you can afford to get the vehicles, which do multiple plots at a time. You can buy a tractor for 5,000 coins, which allows you to plow four squares at a time. A harvester will run you 30,000 coins and a seeder is 30,000 coins. The hot rod versions of the vehicles do 9 plots at a time. The down side to the vehicles is they use fuel. When you buy your first tractor it comes with a full fuel can of 150 units of fuel. You usually have to buy refills using FarmCash or simply wait for it to refill over time. Buying more vehicles does not increase your fuel. You can get free fuel by helping out your neighbors by fertilizing their crops. Keep an eye out for friends sharing fuel finds in their Farmville feeds on Facebook you are likely to find free fuel.
Unfortunately, the vehicles cannot harvest the trees. The speed hack for your farmer is the best way to take care of all those trees lining your farm without waiting for your slow paced farmer to shuffle on over to harvest each tree. Occasionally your farmer will escape from your enclosure. Don’t worry this happens. Just put him in a new position and surround him with hay bales and maybe a few ducks or rabbits to keep him/her company.
